Overview

JOB SUMMARY: 

 

The Customer Development Manager will coordinate customer and company driven initiatives to meet the needs of the customer while ensuring a positive outcome for the company.  Reporting to the QCD Director of Customer Support, he/she will be responsible for the overall success of assigned strategic customers and initiatives within the QCD distribution network.

Responsibilities

Core Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work across QCD functional departments to identify how we can better leverage our distribution network
  • Manage target customers to achieve our individual EBIT target
  • Support in the strategic planning sessions for each QCD customer
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key customers
  • Work with operational leaders to ensure customer KPI metrics are achieved
  • Ensure operations adhere to customer SOPs and support as needed
  • Take an active leadership position in all customer market launches
  • Support in customer pricing evaluation and sell-in
  • Support in new business RFP execution
  • Work as assigned by supervisor

 

Additional Requirements/Expectations

This position will office in our QCD Frisco, TX headquarter office.

Travel expectations will vary with business needs and may be upward of 50%.

Daily schedule will be consistent with Frisco, TX operating hours 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri).  After hour support is not anticipated but may be needed from time to time as service disruptions may occur.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate field or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • General understanding of the industry
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Time management and multitasking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
