Sanitor – $22.00/HR

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitor to join our team. This role follows a set cleaning schedule and performs a variety of janitorial duties to ensure our distribution center meets QCD and customer standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean warehouse floors using manual and electric-powered equipment

• Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot, shipping/receiving docks, and fence line

• Collect and properly dispose of waste and recycling materials

• Clean leaker boards in both dry and refrigerated areas

• Keep the breakroom clean and organized

• Restock supplies in restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas

• Support basic facility maintenance tasks as needed

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Forklift certification (or ability to pass certification)

• Minimum 6 months of safe material handling equipment operation

• Familiarity with sanitation/janitorial techniques and Good Manufacturing Practices (Silliker Standards)

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Basic math and reading skills

• Must be able to work in cold environments and tolerate temperature changes

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, and handle equipment continuously (over 66% of shift)

• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (under 34% of shift)

• Push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally

• Frequent reaching and balancing

• Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and twisting

• Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions
