ABOUT THE JOB

The SUPPLY CHAIN SUPERVISOR Supervises and Plans Raw Materials Requirements, Scheduling and Inventory Control to meet GSF objectives for quality, efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  1. Supervises assigned staff, assigning work, providing training and development, evaluating performance, and building a motivated, effective team to ensure that organizational goals for diversity, career development, productivity, performance management and employee involvement are met. Assists in the recruitment and selection of employees. (20%)
  2. Plans and releases all bulk liquid requirements to support the daily schedule. Ensures inventory levels are maintained, and costs are contained. (25%)
  3. Audits operational procedures and programs to identify and implement improvements in product procurement, availability, storage optimization, and inventory accuracy, resulting in increased timeliness and productivity. (20%)
  4. Manages all finished goods, raw materials and ingredient inventories to ensure accuracy, proper rotation and efficient storage and movement. (15%)
  5. Communicates and coordinates with vendors to resolve raw materials, packaging, or freight issues. (10%)
  6. Generates, monitors, and reconciles daily and weekly labor and yield reports to ensure managers and directors are well informed (10%)
  7. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

 Education and experience equivalent to:

 

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in purchasing or logistics management from an accredited college or university

 

Experience:

 

7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment with increasing Supervisor experience

Supervises, approximately 4 -6 hourly/salary employees
