ABOUT THE JOB

The Human Resources Manager provides oversight of human resources programs serving over 200 associates within the manufacturing location; supervises HR team members located in each facility.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  1. Creed and Values: In partnership with operations leaders, and within GSF Creed and Values, leads employee engagement strategies to include leading employee surveys, feedback sessions and appropriate actions plans to maintain an engaged workforce.
  2. Ensure Compliance & Safety: Upholds all environmental, health, safety, food safety, and legal compliance standards across HR operations, including adherence to OSHA, DOT, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Performance & Development: Oversees performance management processes, goal setting, and leadership development to enhance employee engagement and drive results.
  4. Talent Management & Organization Development: In collaboration with leadership, designs, develops, and fosters implementation of human capital strategies to include retention and engagement.
  5. HR Policy & Program Administration: Leads and manages all core HR functions—employment, benefits, compensation, training, and associate relations—ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA, Title VII).
  6. Employee Relations & Investigations: Partners with leadership and Corporate Legal to advise and provide recommendations to address employee concerns, which may include conducting investigations (e.g., EEOC, harassment, discrimination) to foster positive relations across all levels.
  7. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Collaborates with Talent Acquisition to recruit, select, onboard, and retain qualified employees, supporting workforce and succession planning initiatives.
