JOB SUMMARY: Supervises day-to-day transportation functions to ensure driver performance, customer satisfaction, and that Department and Company objectives for efficiency, reliability, and productivity are met or exceeded.
The schedule will either be Sunday through Wednesday, or Wednesday through Saturday. It will be 4 ten hour shifts, 3 days off. 2 days start time will be 7am-5:30 and 2 days 9am-7:30pm
Salary starts at $68k and pay is commensurate with experience. This position is bonus eligible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONIBILITY
Supervises up to 50 or more employees, including hourly staff. Oversees operations with significant impact on GSF customer relations.
PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or psychology from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
3 to 6 years of work experience in transportation or food distribution, including supervisory responsibilities and union work environments.
