JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination of all activities required for monitoring, counting, and maintaining the accuracy of inventory levels of packaging, raw materials, and finished products.

 

 

Starting Pay: $21.00 Per/hr.  + eligible for Perfect Attendance

Schedule: 4AM-1PM

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Schedule and assign counts to be taken on packaging, raw materials and finished goods. (30%)
  2. Perform physical cycle counts. Inventory validation (25%)
  3. Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective action. (15%)
  4. Monitor, investigate, and notify management of discrepancies. (10%)
  5. Input cycle count information. (10%)
  6. Generate weekly variance report. (5%)
  7. Perform annual physical inventory. (5%)

 

PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES

  • Productivity/quality standards: working capital, product integrity, inventory levels, accuracy, timeliness and thoroughness
  • Project /assignment standards: adhere to procedures, discrepancy resolution and reporting.
  •  Customer satisfaction.
  • Safety standards and procedures: employees, facility and warehouse equipment

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:

 Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience:

2 + years of relevant work experience in inventory management, purchasing, transportation, logistics, shipping and receiving in an automated environment.

 

Knowledge of (B/basic; J/journey; E/expert):

Skill and ability to:

  • Read and process written information with a high degree of accuracy. (E)
  • Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service. (E)
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing. (E)
  • Forklift, pallet jack operation. (E)
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels. (E)
  • Must be capable of completing counts of products from location within the racking system. (E)
  • Must possess excellent mathematical computation abilities. (J)
  • Must be able to read and process written information with a high degree of technical accuracy. (B)
  • Demonstrate ability to make rational decisions consistent with Company policies and procedures. (B)
  • Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary. (B)
