JOB SUMMARY: Supervises day-to-day transportation functions to ensure driver performance, DOT requirements, customer satisfaction, and that Department and Company objectives for efficiency, reliability, and productivity are met or exceeded.
Pay is commensurate with experience. This position is bonus eligible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervises up to 30 or more employees, including hourly staff. Oversees operations with significant impact on GSF customer relations.
PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or two year associate’s degree from an accredited college.
Experience:
3 to 6 years of work experience in transportation or food distribution, including supervisory responsibilities in a non-union and/or union work environments.
