Overview

JOB SUMMARY:  Develops and analyzes transportation and allied department statistical information.

 

  • $21.00/HR
  • 11PM Start time
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Consolidates, computes and distributes statistical information in report form. (30%)
  1. Processes driver documents, accumulates data for the weekly payroll and maintains records for fuel, mileage and maintenance reporting. (30%)
  1. Reviews, audits and prepares exception reports for XATA information. (15%) 
  1. Assists in the the prepartation of the dpeartment’s annual budget and equipment . (20%)
  1. Audits and verifies cost effectiveness of backhauls and conducts temperature and other studies related to product safety for inbound and outbound product. (10%)
  1. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY

Works with up to 100 or more employees, including hourly staff.  Oversees operations with significant impact on GSF customer relations.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education and experience equivalent to:

 

Education/Certification:

Associates’s degree in management, business, or psychology from an accredited college or university.

 

Experience:

2 to 3 years of work experience in transportation or food distribution, including  administrative responsibilities.
