Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring our state-of-the-art food production facility operates smoothly. Every day, you'll be tackling new challenges, troubleshooting, and maintaining essential equipment to keep our production moving!

What You’ll Do:

  • Keep Us Running: Maintain, install, and troubleshoot a variety of equipment to keep our production on track and our food products safe and high-quality.
  • Diagnose Like a Pro: Use a mix of hand tools, test equipment, and computer-assisted gear to identify and fix equipment breakdowns in record time.
  • Master Preventive Maintenance: Stick to a scheduled maintenance plan, using blueprints and diagrams, so our high-speed packaging equipment and facilities stay in top shape.
  • Safety First: Work in line with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and food safety protocols to ensure a safe, efficient work environment.
  • Utility Management: Oversee daily utilities like steam, compressed air, and more, supporting optimum production every shift.
  • Mentor and Support: Help other mechanics with challenging repairs and train newer team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Read blueprints, troubleshoot equipment, and make quick decisions to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Strong Communication: You’ll interact with various team members, sharing information and working together to solve issues as they arise.
