JOB SUMMARY: Provide leadership and expertise in areas of environmental, occupational health and safety (EHS), risk management, and workers compensation/loss control management to business units across domestic Distribution locations. Assist the facilities to maintain compliance with all applicable EHS requirements (both GSF and regulatory). Offer leadership to EHS professionals at domestic Distribution facilities as direct reports. Monitor and ensure accurate timely reporting of appropriate metrics. As a subject matter expert, support representing GSF with government agencies, industry associations, and/or other organizations as needed. Aid facilities in actions to eliminate worker injuries and associated costs, improve pollution prevention, and waste minimization. Offer leadership and expertise to facilities and give corporate oversight in the areas of EHS.

Education/Certification:
BS degree in Engineering, Life Science, Safety, or Risk Management from an accredited college or university. Certification as a Certified Safety Professional and OSHA 30 Hour is a plus.
Work Experience:
7 to 10 years of relevant work experience within the food manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution environment.
