Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) with a focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM). This role involves working closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement SCM modules to optimize our operations. The Analyst will play an important role in driving adoption and ensuring best practices and optimal system architecture.

Salary range for the role is $140k - $165k, pay is commensurate with experience. This role is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

(% of time may vary depending on assignments/projects)

·        Act as the primary BSA for Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Production Control, Master Planning, and Procurement.

·        Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for SCM processes and reporting.

·        Design and propose solutions within D365 F&O to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability.

·        Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of implemented solutions.

·        Provide training to end-users and ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of the system including creating and maintaining user guides.

·        Collaborate with other IT functional teams as needed (e.g. Infrastructure, Security, Change Management)

·        Monitor and provide functional/technical direction to other internal and external resources as needed

·        Lead functional and technical discussions during the Dynamics 365 implementation (architecture, integrations, custom development, and functional requirements)

·        Coordinate upgrades, patches, and new services while ensuring maximum up-time

·        Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

·        Keep updated on planned service outages and feature releases from Microsoft. Coordinate with team members and business stakeholders on the use of new functionality.

·        Evaluate new technologies and provide input into future systems strategies to support evolving business needs.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

 

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field or commensurate work experience

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • 7+ years supporting and delivering ERP/MRP technical solutions
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a business analyst for D365 Finance and Operations
  • Experience supporting the following business functions: warehouse management, inventory management, production control, master planning, and procurement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience within the process manufacturing and logistics industries a plus (food manufacturing preferred)
  • Experience with ERP consolidations/migrations, preferably to D365 F&O

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand, communicate, interpret client business processes and requirements.
  • Deep understanding of D365 F&O SCM modules and capabilities
  • Knowledge of D365 data model and reporting capabilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS)
  • Understanding of system architecture and security concepts
  • Understanding of web services and integration concepts
