JOB SUMMARY: Create and Monitors PO’s to ensures success of the materials order process and in-bound freight management. Offers support to SC, OPS associates, manages sales-related forecast, pricing information and document archives. Controls inventory. Ensures timely delivery of products and smooth order fulfillment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Monitors Production Schedules and Inventory to ensure accurate and complete materials are ordered for production. Liaises with other supplier’s personnel to ensure timely order entry and product shipment. Liaises where necessary with appropriate operations personnel to ensure order fill rates. Disseminates information regarding orders, products, promotions, ordering processes (training), etc. Communicates regarding purchase order discrepancies, shipping/arrival dates, product availability, and any program changes.
2. Creates and processes a variety of documents, Materials ordering (as needed), reports, and project status update reports. Weekly and monthly production and distribution of reports and/or analysis. Performs other administrative tasks as requested by management.
3. Monitors inbound logistics with freight coordinators, carriers, and customer DCs. Processes freight quote information for sales team to provide freight pricing for customers. Resolves disputes with suppliers claims and carriers freight claims. Is responsible for overall success of materials, inbound logistics and freight, as well as the cost-effectiveness thereof.
4. Carries out responsibility for data in Microsoft D365. Assures appropriate use of parameters. Coordinate with all operational departments to ascertain material requirements. Align with material suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels, place orders, and oversee that materials are collected, transported, and delivered on time. Additionally, ensure that forwarded materials are dispatched promptly and provide accurate ETA’s.
5. Provides support to national account managers with daily activities and planning support as outlined above.
6. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary. Performs other administrative tasks as requested by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain processes
· Ability to work under pressure to fulfill agreed deadlines.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Excellent problem solver with the ability to critically think.

Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalency and up to 18 months of post high school education. Associates Degree preferred
Experience:
2 to 3 years of relevant work experience with materials management and within the logistics and supply chain industry is essential.
