Overview

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a Sanitor to work at our Facility over in Romeoville ILL (21.15/HR)

Schedule will be Monday - Friday (6AM - 230PM)

 

Job Duties 

  • Cleaning all common areas, bathrooms, office spaces
  • Taking care of outside grounds around the building
  • making sure all exit doors are free from debris and blockage
  • Clearing all loading docks free of debris
  • Must be able to work in the freezer and cooler to clean spaces
  • Weekly pay (Paid every Friday)

Position Summary

Follows an established cleaning schedule, performs a variety of janitorial duties to maintain distribution center building and grounds to meet QCD and customer standards for appearance, cleanliness, and safety.

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:

 

  1. Keep warehouse floor clean, using both manual and electric-powered equipment
  2. Maintain cleanliness of parking lot, shipping/receiving docks, and fence line
  3. Collect waste material for both recycling and disposal
  4. Maintain cleanliness of leaker boards in both the dry and chill areas
  5. Maintain cleanliness of break room to standard
  6. Organize and stock supply cabinets for the break room, restrooms, and locker rooms
  7. In support of the above functions, may be assigned basic tasks related to facility maintenance
  8. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

  8. Ability to safely operate an electric rider pallet jack
  9. Ability to pass forklift certification process

Qualifications

Qualifications Required of this Position:

Licensed fork lift operator with a minimum of six months of safe operation of material handling equipment.  Knowledge of sanitation and janitorial concepts and techniques, ability to work independently. Possess reading and basic math skills.  Physically capable of standing, walking, and twisting while carrying up to 50 lbs. objects. HS Diploma or equivalent required.
