Overview

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking an Operations Clerk to work over at our Franklin Park Facility ($20/hr.)

 

JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for the coordination of all activities required to effectively maintain the accuracy of JDE theoretical inventory, slot locations, quantities, and pricing.

 

Job Functions

  • The schedule is 4 days on 3 days off - 7:00AM to 5:30PM
  • The position pays $20/hr.
  • Having knowledge in using warehouse management systems experience is needed. 
  • In charge of keeping track of inbound and outbound merchandise
  • Have inventory track experience is a plus
  • Microsoft exp is needed
  • Strong experience in Warehouse admin and Transportation Admin Experience  
  • Able to work in a fast pace high stress environment
  • Strong communication skills are a plus
  • Provide daily reports to the leadership team
  • Having Distribution admin or clerical experience is a plus.
  • Weekly Pay, and benefits after your first 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintain and ensure accuracy of product and slot locations. (15%)
  1. Record, process, communicate and report all supplier debits. (15%)
  1. Perform purchase order reconciliations and effectively communicate variances with the Accounting team. (15%)
  1. Conduct physical inventory of perishable products. (15%)
  1. Conduct weekly inventory of distressed product and communicate variances with the Customer Service team. (5%)
  1. Perform cycle counts as required. (15%)
  1. Perform IA's as necessary. (15%)
  1. Inactivate WRIN's as necessary to maintain an accurate item master. (5%)
  1. Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education and experience equivalent to:

 

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent

 

Experience:

3 to 6 years of relevant work experience.

Skill and ability to:

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Read and process written information with a high degree of accuracy
  • Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service
  • WMS concepts and procedures (J)
  • PC word processing / spreadsheet  / internet software applications
  • Inventory Control concepts and procedures
  • Credit processing concepts and procedures
  • Act in accordance with GSF’s Creed and Values
