Job Description

  • Wednesday through Saturday 6am to 4:30 pm
  • Data Entry and Communication skills is a plus
  • Having Warehouse Admin, and Clerical exp is a plus
  • Planning and good Organization skills are a must
  • Willing to work extra hours, and possibly weekends.
  • Using Warehouse Management Systems to monitor, replenish, inventory, loading and dispatching routes. 
  • Customer Service skills are a plus

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:

1. Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, continuously picks, lifts, carries and places product into a pallet to accurately build customer orders in various temperature environments. Moves product into a trailer or storage unit, is responsible for visually inspecting incoming and outgoing warehouse products to determine acceptability for shipment and/or receiving of product.

2. Reads labels and or printing on product containers and associated documents. Counts and calculates quantity of product to verify accuracy of shipment.

3. Must be able to consistently meet company safety, accuracy and productivity standards. Steps into the driving position and uses full range of peripheral vision to operate a forklift or pallet jack in an accident-free manner.

4. Uses brooms, mops and other cleaning materials (including solvents and soaps) to clean work area. Completes any other functions that may be assigned.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Performs administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry and report generation, to support the timely, accurate, and thorough maintenance of files, logs, and records and to support compliance with GSF, DOT, and other regulatory policies and procedures. (50%)
  1. Provides support and assistance to supervisors and drivers in the dispatch office to ensure high levels of productivity and smooth operations. (15%)
  2. Prepares and maintains daily paperwork for drivers and the warehouse, including driver DOT files, to ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness. (15%)
  1. Extracts relevant driver data from the XATA system to provide supervisors with the information required to counsel drivers. (15%)
  1. Prepares a variety of documents and reports for store deliveries to ensure accurate and timely customer service. (5%)
  1. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education and experience equivalent to:

 

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent

 

Experience:

2 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse/transportation environment

  • Relevant department concepts, procedures, and regulations (B)
