Overview

JOB SUMMARY:  The Global FSQR Training Manager serves as the primary training resource for the GSF Global FSQR Training Program and is responsible for the delivery of company training and the development of training programs via various methods including, but not limited to classroom-based, e-learning platforms, webinars, virtual, and in office/onsite support. The role will ensure alignment with strategic business objectives and maintain high quality standards in instructional design and development for all methods of program delivery. Responsibilities shall also include building new standardized global training programs, improving existing training processes, and executing relevant food safety, quality and regulatory compliance initiatives. 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Develops and maintains global FSQR training policies and programs. Implements a process to perform periodic reviews of all training related policies for relevance and content updates. (20%)
  2. Collaborates with all GSF facilities to implement global Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory (FSQR) policies & training programs. (20%)
  3. Collaborates with cross-functional GSF partners to perform training related gap assessments, monitors training program effectiveness, compliance rates and works with all GSF facilities to close identified opportunities. (20%)
  4. Evaluates new, innovative FSQR training solutions to determine feasibility and supports all facilities with implementations of new programs and continuous improvement initiatives. (10%)
  5. Assesses current training materials and delivery approaches and propose alternative solutions in training delivery, leveraging various mediums. Incorporates multiple media elements into learning programs including audio, video, animation, simulation, and other learning support resources. (5%)
  6. Develops and conducts training needs assessments and determine training requirements for new program development through the application of a wide range of learning assessment tools. (5%)
  7. Proactively collaborates and communicates with appropriate internal/external stakeholders to address more complex training gaps to optimize organizational performance. (5%)
  8. Generate and maintain accurate training records and reports. (5%)
  9. Maintains awareness of current best practices and trends in the area of training and communicates info to all GSF facilities and Global FSQR Leadership. (5%)
  10. Presents training materials proficiently and effectively. (5%)
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education and experience equivalent to:

 

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related areas from an accredited university.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in a food manufacturing environment with training management or supervisory experience. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements. International food manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service
